Pontifical Oriental Institute Hosts Expert Seminar: Abuse within the Church, “A Submerged Reality”

On February 24, the Pontifical Oriental Institute will host a space for open dialogue on the question of abuse as a “submerged reality” in the Eastern churches.

Expert panelists and presenters will discuss how those churches are confronting the abuse crisis.  Speakers include TutelaMinorum member and Professor of Canon Law at the University of Erfurt (Germany) Dr. Myriam Wijlens and Fr. Robert Geisinger SJ, Promoter of Justice at the Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith and Extraordinary Professor of Canon Law at the Pontifical Gregorian University.
