The Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors offers on this website different safeguarding initiatives and “best practices” from many different Bishops’ Conferences, dioceses, conferences of religious and private institutions. The website is intended to be both a point of reference for different pastoral agents at a parish, diocesan or national level, and also, an easily accessible source of information that can be understood by all individuals.

However, the Commission cannot claim this initiative as its own, nor be held responsible for its content and how it is carried out. While it is the Commission’s primary goal to provide the most accurate resources on safeguarding initiatives around the world, it cannot be held liable for any of its websites contents, omissions thereof, or errors given that it does not produce, but rather, only provides information from multiple third parties. Moreover, although this information is constantly updated and reassessed by its members, there is no guarantee that the information is the most up to date and correct version.
